Kyle and Eddie Sapphire

Kyle is now 11 years old and began Taekwon-Do at the Kuranda Branch approximately 18 months ago in early 2009. When Kyle began Taekwon-Do, he had a poor concentration span, was very restless and fidgety, did not really have great hand-eye coordination and lacked self discipline. He also had very low self esteem and confidence which had a negative impact on his school work.

We have noticed with time many improvements in his general behaviour and demeanour. We find he is concentrating better, is not as restless, has improved self discipline, much better hand-eye coordination and most importantly, there has been a marked improvement in his self esteem and confidence.

Kyle has made many new friends whilst attending training. This has also been helpful towards improving his self esteem in the company of others.

Although it has been a rather major commitment over the last eighteen months, I am so glad I made it and I have absolutely no regrets. The instructors have been fantastic and have incredible patience with the children. I think we are all fortunate to have some really wonderful people running the Academy.
