Dear FNQ Regional Instructor Jeff Dieben and Instructor Marcelle Dieben,
I am writing to thank both of you on behalf of the small village of Kuranda for holding Taekwon-Do classes that locals of all ages can attend to learn the skills, uphold the discipline and become competent in self defence.
Since our son Robert joined the Academy at the start of September 2006, his attitude towards people, his confidence, his fitness and in general his respect for himself and others has taken a huge turn for the better. Robert, since having joined the classes, has grown and matured, gained people skills and has so far achieved the level of Red Belt.
He is looking forward to grading right through to Black Belt and beyond.
We, as parents, are proud of what Taekwon-Do has done for him, even his handling of unsociable behavior from some of his school peers. He has coped extremely well.
Robert is passionate about Taekwon-Do. He attended this year’s camp at Lake Tinaroo and enjoyed the experience thoroughly, especially with the Black Belts and International Instructors also attending the camp. His achievements were good, as were the achievements of the whole group from Kuranda and the other local clubs due to the dedication of the Instructors.
Robert looks forward to gradings and knows that all Instructors and Assistants put in 100% with guiding him and all the other students to better themselves and succeed to their next level.
So again, thank you both for all your hard work and time you commit to the FNQ Region. We are sure that the high standard will continue and the Academy will go from strength to strength. We look forward to seeing our son continue to grow within the Academy. The skills he has so far achieved will stay with him for life. Thanks again!
Kind Regards
Rob and Lisa
