WBB Grading Report – December 2011

Leukaemia Foundation Participants.

The final Wide Bay Grading for 2011 was held at North Bundaberg State High School on Saturday, 3^rd December.

Grading Examiner, Mr Jeff Dieben, commenced the day by presenting Instructor Terry O’Brien with his 2^nd Degree ITF certificate. Participation certificates from the Leukaemia Foundation were presented to the team members who competed in the Plane Pull earlier in the year.

Mr Dieben also made special mention of the fact that Grant Little, along with five other QSDTA members, recently participated in raising money for men’s health by being part of the 2011 Movember event.

Central Queensland Instructor, Sabum Marcelle Dieben, attended the Grading as an observer, gaining added experience in the grading process. Mrs Dieben may soon be the first female grading examiner for the Academy.

Overall the Wide Bay Grading was well attended by students from the region with approximately 50 students being examined.

The next Gup grading will be held in the afternoon of March 24^th following the Dan testing in the morning.
